The needlework industry on a whole has seen a rise in the posting of "shared" copyright protected material on the internet. Such activity is illegal. Designers are protected by international copyright laws. If you upload copyrighted material, you are breaking the law. If you download the material you are also breaking the law. If in doubt. . . . . .. ask the designer! Report the charts you find uploaded to the web directly to the designer, not friends. Make a difference and post notices on your blogs that you do not participate in such activity and urge others not to as well.
